As mayor of Vallehermoso, I would like to welcome you to this information space for tourists and visitors.
In the upper part, we offer practical information which will help you to quickly find what you need to plan your journey and organise your stay with us.
The information offered in the menus on the left gives details of our natural environment, heritage, culture, history, customs and traditions. Also offered is a download facility and a photo gallery.
By using the logos situated at the bottom of the web page, you can find out more about current programmes featuring Vallehermoso and La Gomera, and read how international recognition of the unique features of both has already been achieved. You will learn about the singular natures of the Silbo Gomero and Garajonay National Park, motives for their inclusion as world heritage sites. You will also be able to find out how the European Charter for Sustainable Tourism is being implemented on the island and get information on how the process to have la Gomera declared world heritage site by UNESCO is progressing.
